George Sim* (not his real name) was a 49 years old Financial Manager. As he was fast approaching the prime age of 50 years, he found himself being retrenched. 

George had been working in the company since he graduated. After being so loyal to the company for 25 years, George was never prepared for a career change.

He was at a loss and at his wit’s end. He had a family of 4 to support and his 2 children still had a few years before joining the workforce.
