SPEC can solve your problem, and help you save money at the same time!

Our low-cost, high-quality facilities to meet your training, meeting, and seminar needs? Come to SPEC at the International Factors Building (IFB) and Tekka, with its close proximity to places with good food and entertainment, SPEC is the ideal place for you to host your courses.

Conveniently located outside the CBD and easily accessible via public transport, SHRI training room facilities are available at attractive hourly rental rates for SPEC / SHRI members and the public. We have a total of 13 training rooms with seating capacities ranging from 30 to 98 participants to serve your training needs.

We provide training aids and audio/visual equipment to assist you in your training, which include the overhead projector and screen, flip-chart stand and papers and whiteboard and markers. Special seating arrangements can also be arranged to cater to your training styles. Catering services are also available if you require any refreshments for tea-breaks and lunch. Open for rental seven days a week (including public holidays) from 9.00am - 10.00pm. There are a total of 13 training rooms with seating capacities ranging from 30 to 98 participants.

Terms & Conditions

1)  Minimum booking is 3 hours

2) Projector screen, 1 flipchart stand and papers, whiteboard and markers are complimentary

3)  Additional Equipments / Training Aids:  Television, VCR & LCD Projector rental at S$50 per day for members and S$80 per day for
non-members

4)  Refreshments (Halal & Non Halal)
· $3.00 per pax & per break: Free flow of coffee/tea & 2 snacks items
· $3.50 per pax & per break: Free flow of coffee/tea & 3 snacks items
· S$2.00 per pax & per break: Free flow of coffee/tea

5) Special Seating Arrangements: All training rooms are set up in a classroom/lecture arrangement style
· $40.00 surcharge is applicable for special arrangements such as U-shape/cluster style seating arrangements.
· In the event that the room is modified or changed, the user must restore the room to its original seating after use. A S$50.00 penalty will be levied upon failure to do so.

6)  Advance Notice of Cancellation: Generally, booking cancellations are not allowed after rental. However, if advance notice is received in writing, the following charges will apply

7)  Advance Written Notice Of Cancellation (Penalty:
· More than 21 working days No charge
· More than 10 working days 15% of total charge
· 4-10 working days 50% of total charge
· Less than 3 days 100% of total charges

8)  Confirmation of rentals are to be scan and e-mail or fax over with the company’s stamp or signature at least 7 days before the actual dates for invoicing purposes.
9)  Payments are to be made on the first or the last day of rental.

10)  Payments accepted : Cash, Cheque, Giro, UOB credit cards and Diners Club credit cards.

11)  For rentals for 3 days and more, 30% deposit of total amount required 7 days upon confirmation.

SPEC is founded by Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) in May 2000.

Launched in the aftermath of the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997 and 1998, SPEC helped Singaporean professionals and executives who were retrenched.
