Operations Executive (Events)



Responsibilities

- To manage conferences and event management projects’ operations

(workflow, logistical support and timelines of the delivery for projects undertaken)

- To professionally coordinate and manage the set-up and production of the event

on site, ensuring the delivery of a high quality event

- Manage project budgets & quotations

- Required to work closely with the members of your team and other division

to collectively produce a successful event

- To handle multiple projects and work within tight schedules

- Key liaison between client and other third party vendors leading up to the event,

ensuring that both client and event requirements are met

- Handle all event-requests & enquiries and assist in the servicing of accounts

Requirements

- Must be Singaporean / PR / current E-Pass holder and/or Dependent Pass holders

- Fluent in English and Mandarin

- At least 1 year experience in Conference and Events Management, Operations

and Logistics

- A degree qualification in relevant or related field of study

- A passion for events and communication with an accurate eye for details

- Excellent communications and client relationship skills

- Basic knowledge of conference facilities and AV equipment

- Able to handle pressure, multi-task and work within tight schedules / deadlines

- Resourceful, independent and result-driven

- Able to think strategically and work independently

- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills

- Career Level: Entry

- Qualification: Diploma, Degree

- Years of experience: 0 - 1

- Salary: Negotiable

SPEC is founded by Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) in May 2000.
