Internship Placements

JobCentre@SPEC is introducing internship placements for undergraduates from all universities. We assist students in sourcing for internship programmes with companies.

Objectives of internship placement:

• Helps students learn on the job and bring back real work challenges to the classroom

• Provides students opportunities to apply knowledge learnt in school

• Increase students' learning curve

• Service to our members and corporate partners

• For companies to identify talent

We also offer career-related workshops like resume writing, coaching, profiling, communication  skills and grooming to equip interns with lifelong skills before they enter the workforce upon graduation.

Objectives of workshops:

• Equip interns with lifelong skills

• Increase employability in the workforce

• Enhance and enrich social capital in Singapore

• Promote interest of its members

Our career advisory centre also helps them discover their interest areas. Our consultants use the profiling tool, Pathfinders to help fresh graduates chart their future.

Hence, this internship placement programme is a win-win situation for both companies and undergraduates.
